What kind of people do you hire?
We look for the best of the best from industry and from universities. Each year we hire graduates from schools such as IITs, Symbiosis Management Schools, and other leading engineering and management colleges under Pune University like PIET (formally COEP), PICT, MIT, MESCO, IMDR and SCMLD.


What are Synygy’s core values?

How will my performance be measures?
At the end of each quarter, you meet with your mentor to set individual and team objectives for the next quarter and assess your accomplishments over the past quarter. In addition, your mentor and your coworkers evaluate your performance along our five core values and your job skills. We also measure client satisfaction each quarter. For client-facing employees, our clients provide individual assessments of performance. Together, objective achievement, coworker evaluations, and client satisfaction are how each employee's performance is measured.


How is compensation structured?
At Synygy, we practice what we preach about pay for performance. The base pay of all employees is broken into two parts: fixed base salary paid monthly and variable base salary paid quarterly. The variable component of base pay is linked to individual performance measures. Most employees achieve their target pay; however, people who do not meet expectations receive less than their target and over achievers receive more than their target.


How can I grow and contribute at Synygy?
We've created an environment that allows our employees to contribute and grow at all levels within the organization. Your position will be appropriate to your experience, and your mentor and team members will work with you further to develop those skills so you can grow and advance to the next level.


I know I am going to work hard, but what do employees do together for fun?
Throughout the year, Synygy sponsors and encourages many employee activities. Our monthly in-house "Herberts"—our name for a happy hour—are very popular. Synygy also hosts annual events, including a company-wide diversity fair in the Spring, our Summer Solstice family “pycnyc”, and our Winter Solstice party. In addition, many events are initiated by our employees and posted to the Social newsgroup on our Intranet such as cultural activities and Synygy sports teams like volleyball, cricket, and soccer.


Do you provide specific job training?
We believe that learning occurs by doing, and the company provides an extensive internal training program, which covers topics such as business communication, project management, process automation, information design, and the use our software. In addition, outside technical training (or other specialized training) is provided to employees who need to increase their skills to perform their job more effectively. Your mentor will work with you to determine exactly what training you will need.
